Strong tempo with Adenium and Nothing Better leading from Yui Avenir and Rommet. ADENIUM (6) strode forward early from her wide draw over 1400m at this track last time, leading for much of the way before being claimed in the straight to finish second, beaten one length. Rates highly and will be hard to peg back. JUST A PARTY (1) last appeared two-and-a-half weeks ago over 1580m at Kasamatsu when he finished second. This is his first run for the Shizuo Oshima stable. Solid chance for the new barn. DAIHASSHU (9) is a distance specialist who was prominent at the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1300m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. YUI AVENIR (3) had been racing well with two consecutive placings before last start managing only 12th over 1860m at this track. Good record at this journey with two wins and four minor placings from seven starts and deserves respect.
