Genuine tempo from Smile Mont Blanc leading Yakujin Myo O. SMILE MONT BLANC (7) put in a strong showing last time, narrowly beaten over this track and trip. He was prominent throughout and finished with plenty of zest, making him a serious contender to go one better. VERT DRAGO (9) claimed a stylish win three runs back at Kochi before following up with minor placings at his last two starts. Can be competitive again. SHORT STOP (5) was fourth over this journey here two weeks ago, staying in contention but lacking the final punch. Well drawn and expected to improve, he can feature. BALL THE MAHONEY (6) missed the placings two starts back before showing solid progress last time. Looks ideally placed and should be in the mix again.
