Keen tempo with Seiun Iris and Cosmo Lumina prominent. GROOVENS (13) produced a nice effort on debut last start over 1200m at Fukushima when second, beaten 1.75 lengths. Tricky draw to overcome but he should be in the finish again. COSMO LUMINA (5) raced handy on debut last start and gave a good sight before tiring to finish fifth and beaten 4 lengths over 1400m at Chukyo. Leading player with plenty of improvement in store. TRANSALPINA (2) never really threatened on debut, finishing midfield and beaten 10 lengths over 1200m at Fukushima. Will strip fitter and can do much better. SEIUN IRIS (8) was unwanted in betting on debut last start but ran a strong race, finishing third and beaten 3.5 lengths over 1200m at Fukushima. Among the chances.
