Little in the way of pace with no noted leaders on paper. FLYING VENTO (1) is a Written By gelding on debut for Adam Campton. Has come along nicely in his lead-up work and gets a key booking in Heywood. Expecting a bright start. MISS DIPSEY (6) was prominent into the straight last time but faltered late and dropped right out at Grafton. This is easier and she gets the key booking of Looker. Can play a more significant role this time. MUSUMECI (2) made progress last start to finish second at Inverell. Strips rock-hard fit and rates one of the key chances. ROWDIE BLUE (7) never looked likely last start when always well back. Has since been freshened and gets in light with the 4kg claimer engaged. Wary of sharp improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: Flying Vento to win.
