Vatican Rose to take up the running with Bad Man and Voronya close at hand. VORONYA (1) is a former Victorian who landed back-to-back placings in Darwin and returns to Alice. Is unbeaten in two tries here and looks bursting to win again. Gets his chance. BRAZEN SAILOR (2) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1200m at this track after he came home with a powerful finish. Will need a good ride from Hannah Le Blanc off the awkward draw. No reason he cannot find winning ways.
