This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is right in contention. COPANO CURACAO (7) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with success as public elect over 1400m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Shuji Akaoka scored on him last time and retains the mount. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. JUGGERNAUT (5) was an impressive winner last time over 1400m at this track, stalking the pace before lengthening nicely to score by 2.5 lengths. Among the main hopes. MISTERIO (8) is having his first run since October 16. Has never missed the top-three at the start of his campaigns, and he did win over 1400m at Kawasaki at the start of last prep. Makes plenty of appeal. |

DANON FAST (9) stepped up in trip to 1600m last time at this track and ran below his best, finishing 7 lengths away in fifth. Appeals back in trip this time so a bold showing is expected. IL CUORE (2) did little and finished 11 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1300m at this track last start after being in the firing line on the bend, a less impressive effort than his sixth at this track the run before. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. MUTABILIS (8) finished second at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 1300m at this track, finishing 12 lengths back in sixth. Finds a nice race and can atone. |

Has a strong association with Minoru Miyagawa who has been in the saddle for his last two wins. Should be in the finish. NEO BRAVE (4) showed little early dash last start but found the line strongly to get up for second, beaten 0.8 lengths, over this course and distance. Well placed to feature again. DANON DANCER (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1600m at this track. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. FOUR SIDE NINE (1) ran well below his best last time over 1600m at this track, beaten 8 lengths into sixth at $3. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the better hopes. |
