SA PO HANDICAP 1650m
CELESTIAL HARMONY (1) was too good over this course and distance last time out when off a 67-day break. He's since trialled well at Conghua and Hewitson remains in the saddle. Up in weight here, but he rates highly off the last start effort and can repeat the dose. PHANTOM CYCLONE (12) flew home behind Celestial Harmony last time out when getting a long way back in the run. He's drawn better this time around and he may be able to take closer order. Watch for him late in the race. COURIER MAGIC (2) is another who comes through that race, flying late to be 2.5L off the winner. He's had a quiet trial since that performance and Chau remains in the saddle. Been a while between drinks but his best form is good enough to win. ATOMIC BEAUTY (8) is better than he showed last time out and was in good form prior. Can be in the finish on the back of a nice trial. |

REWARDING TWINKLE (5) is still a maiden after 15 starts but he rates highly on his recent efforts, beaten only 1.8L at this track and trip 42 days ago. Where he gets to in the run is the query, but Vincent Ho remains in the irons and he drops in weight for this assignment. This shapes as a golden opportunity. YEE CHEONG RAIDER (8) flew home from well back to finish 1L off the winner last time out. The inside draw this time should see him much closer in the run and if he looks a leading chance on his fresh performance. MAJESTIC DELIGHT (9) missed narrowly last time out and draws the inside once again. Was favourite there last time out and Bowman remains in the saddle. Should get every chance once again. TRIUMPHANT WARRIOR (7) gets Purton on board now and wasn't far away last time out. Can feature. |

NGA TSIN WAI HANDICAP 1200m
CROSSBORDERDUDE (1) won well two back from the front before a 2.3L defeat as the equal favourite last time out at this track and trip. He maps for a beautiful run once again and he was best of the rest behind the good winner. Trending the right way and he can build on his handy record. MALPENSA (5) flew home over this track and trip last time out to just miss by 0.8L. The form out of that race has been strong and this looks to shape similarly. Likely to get back in the run again this time but he can storm home once again from the back of the pack. PERFECT TRIUMPH (6) is on debut today and has shown enough at the trials to suggest he can run a bold race on debut. Bowman hops in the saddle despite not trialling him in a good push for his chances. Can make an immediate impact. RUSSET GLOW (7) was better last start at a massive price and can improve again third-up. Not out of this. |

HAPPY BRETHREN (4) finished off strongly to be 1.8L off the winner on debut after being checked out of the stalls. Suspect he can sit closer from the draw this time around and he'll benefit from the experience. Can take improvement from the debut run and land the knockout blow this time around. NYX GLUCK (1) comes back to the 1200m today for the first time in a while. His latest run at this track and trip was back in October when only beaten 0.8L as an $68 chance. He's been in good order and the drop in trip doesn't look an issue. Can get the job done this time. FLYING SNIPER (3) is on debut for the David Hall stable with Zac Purton sticking from his last two trials. He raced under his own steam in his latest heat and moved well there. Should get every chance from the draw. COME FAST FAY FAY (12) got the job done last time out and as he drops in weight today. |

FOREVER FOLKS (4) disappointed last time out on the turf course here but bolted in two back over 1800m on this surface. DBM hops on board now and he maps nicely from a good gate. Can bounce back to winning ways getting back onto his preferred surface. HAPPY UNIVERSE (7) draws a much better barrier this time around and can put himself much closer to the speed than his recent efforts. He's racing in top order lately and the chance to sit closer today is a big push for his chances. Right on the cusp and this presents as a winning chance. CALIFORNIA STAR (5) landed midfield and ran over the top to score impressively last time out. He's since trialled well and Purton remains in the saddle. The draw is a little tricky, but with some luck he's a big chance to go back-to-back. FIREFOOT (13) wasn't beaten far behind California Star last time out and can be in the finish once again. |

THE LOK SIN TONG CUP (HANDICAP) 1000m
TURQUOISE VELOCITY (10) bounced back to winning ways at this track and trip most recently when too strong from the front. The form out of that race has been very strong and Keith Yeung remains in the saddle. Should be ideally placed from the draw and he can go back-to-back. THE UNIQUE STAR (5) stepped out to 1200m last start and didn't see out the extra journey following a good run here on debut. The wide draw is ideal for the straight course and he was very impressive behind a good winner here fresh. Can make an impression. TOGETHER WE VALUE (6) was solid here two back before a disappointing run out to 1200m most recently. Purton goes back on board, as do the blinkers for his return to the 1000m journey. Can get back to winning ways today. FAST RESPONDER (7) gets the blinkers on today and won't be far away if he runs to his recent form. |

PAPAYA BROSE (2) lands here on the back of an impressive debut performance, rounding up his rivals to win by 1.5L. He's been back to the trials since where he was sound under Bowman, who remains with him today. He did jump a 20-1 chance on debut, but the figures were strong and he'll be hard to fend off if he can repeat that effort. ENDEARED (1) creates plenty of interest coming back in class today with the booking of Purton. His last run over this track and trip was just 3 starts ago, where he flew late to be 0.3L off the winner as the race favourite. He'll be back in the run again but watch for him flying late. CALIFORNIA BAY (7) missed in a photo finish here a fortnight ago, jumping the $2.90 favourite. Atzeni rides now, and while he has drawn out he possesses good early speed. Can be in this for a long way. JUST FOLLOW ME (12) has claims off a strong performance last time out. |

TALENTS AMBITION (1) returns to his preferred track and trip today as he drops back to Class 3 for the first time in a while. This looks a big like a targeted assault and his recent trial was very strong. Likely to get back in the run but can storm home own the outside. ROMANTIC THOR (7) missed by 1L at this track and trip last start and has had a quiet trial since that effort. He drops in weight today, but Purton remains in the saddle and he should be in this for a very long way. SKY VINO (5) flew home to win here two back as the $2.60 favourite before tackling the turf last time out. Back to this track and trip is ideal and Avdulla hops on board now. Needs some luck from the draw, but can storm home from the back of the pack once again. DRAGON AIR FORCE (2) is racing in strong form recently and Bowman sticks with him here. Can feature. |

EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS (1) drops back in class today after a disappointing run at this track and trip most recently. He looks well placed here however from the inside draw and taking on easier company. Hewitson tends to ride frontrunners well and he'll be very hard to catch. HAPPY BOSS (3) won well two back before getting right out of his ground and ending up 4L off the winner most recently. He's since trialled nicely at Conghua and the better draw today is a big tick. Looks a nice gelding on the rise and can return to winning ways in what looks a suitable assignment. AMAZING DUCK (9) stuck on gamely from the front to be 0.8L off the winner last time out in a similar race. He maps for a similar run this time around for Kingscote and if he's able to dictate proceedings, he'll be in this for a very long way. BIG RETURN (10) is racing well without winning and can be running on strongly late in the race. |

SMART GOLF (4) was far too good over this course and distance last time out, carrying 61kg and running away to score by 2.3L as the odds-on fav. Drawn out this time, but he possesses good early speed and he drops 5kg for the rise in grade. His figures suggest he's right up to this class and he can bring up back-to-back wins. RED SEA (3) was strong on his HK debut after a long time off, finishing 1.3L off the winner when right in the market. He's trialled well since that performance and the inside draw today is a big key to his chances. Can sit handy without doing much work and can make his presence felt. ALL OUT FOR SIX (1) was 1.5L off the winner last time out when tiring late over 1400m. back in trip now looks a bonus and he tackles an easier race back in grade. Can get the job done if he runs to his latest performance. QUANTUM CLOUD (6) creates plenty of interest here down in the weights after a good HK debut 29 days ago. |

PACKING GLORY (11) is an exciting horse on the rise, missing narrowly two back before a 2.5L defeat over 1200m last time out. Out to 1400m now, but that doesn't look an issue and he maps to get every chance from the draw. Can continue to work his way through the grades. MIGHTY MASTS (2) was only 1.5L away two back before not featuring over the mile last time out when rising to the mile. Back to this track and trip suits and Purton remains in the saddle which is a good push for her chances. Can bounce back to winning ways. GHORGAN (8) bounced back last time out and when returning to this track and trip in a strong performance for a race of this calibre. The wide draw is a query, but with some luck in running he can get over the top of them late. RIDING TOGETHER (1) was too good from the front last time out and will take catching again for DBM. |
