WITTENS IRRIGATION & DESIGN HANDICAP 1200m
Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Marines Cry. MARINES CRY (4) sat on the speed and ran away to score by 2.8L at this track last time out. Back to 1200m here, but with the speed she showed last start that shouldn't be an issue. Can find the front again from an inside barrier and repeat the dose. GOOD VIBES (3) settled midfield but ran over the top to score by 1L here first-up. Cheung's 3kg claim comes in handy now and he has a good record aboard the mare. Fitter now and she can get the job done again. PRETTY DEVINE (1) finished behind Good Vibes after leading the field here last time out. Webster's claim is a bonus to bring the weight down and the inside draw is likely to be on the speed. Can go one better without surprising. QUICK AS SILVER (7) is racing in good order and can feature. SUGGESTED PLAY: Marines Cry goes on top. |

TABTOUCH MAIDEN HANDICAP 1200m
Solid tempo with Gentleman's Code leading from Knockonheavensdoor and Satin Bow. MAHLER'S MELODY (10) sat handy and just missed out on the win, beaten 0.5L at this track and trip 13 days ago. She jumped favourite there and this looks a very suitable race on her last start performance. Needs some luck from out wide but if the breaks come, she'll be hard to hold out. GOD'LL GETYA (7) has trialled strongly in readiness for this. He'll appreciate the drop in grade and he jumped favourite at Northam when fresh last campaign. Has the speed to roll across from the wide draw should they choose to do so and he can make a statement. SATIN BOW (5) can sit handy from the inside draw as she did here last time out, only missing out by 0.8L. Webster's claim sees here right down in the weights still and she can put her best foot forward. GENTLEMAN'S CODE (3) can be prominent in the run and give a bold sight. KNOCKONHEAVENSDOOR (4) is next best coming back in grade today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mahler's Melody gets the nod. |

SADDLERY WHOLESALERS MAIDEN HANDICAP 1920m
In a race without an obvious leader, either Infrastructure or Fly Away Flirt can roll them along. GOLD ENIGMA (5) missed by 0.4L on the Scarpside at Pinjarra last time out when jumping the race favourite. The slight rise in trip here should suit, as will the easier company she takes on. Been on the cusp of a maiden win for a while and this presents as a golden opportunity. KODY'S BELLE (9) comes back in distance today following a 4.5L defeat at Pinjarra last time out. Despite her recent defeats, that form looks to shape nicely for a race of this calibre. Drawn inside here and she can play a leading role once again. SAUCISSON (3) was knocking on the door before a disappointing performance at this track most recently. He's better than he showed that day and he can bounce back to form as he jumps up in distance. Drawn ideally and can return to form. INFRASTRUCTURE (1) comes here off a 77-day break, though he did go right to 2200m on debut. Creates interest. GOLD BEAU (2) has claims off a solid last start performance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gold Enigma can knock over the maiden here. |

DARRYS PLUMBING AND GAS HANDICAP 1100m
Expecting Diamond Light to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. CLASSIC ROYALE (7) will be fitter for the fresh run at this track and trip where he never really fired a shot. Back to the 1100m here may do the trip as he remains right down in the weights. Looks open to improvement second-up and can get the job done. SCREAM (1) brings some solid form across from Victoria in his first run for the new barn. He won well in similar grade two back at Hanging Rock and backed up that effort at Stony Creek. Webster's claim is a bonus and she can make a winning start to his career out west. I'M EUGENE (6) stuck on well over the 1200m journey here last time out and comes back in trip today. He's drawn well to be prominent once again and he has to be included on that run. PRECAST (4) wasn't far away last time out and can put her best foot forward. ROYAL DEFENSE (9) can bounce back dropping in class. SUGGESTED PLAY: Classic Royale gets his chance. |

TABTOUCH HANDICAP 1300m
Super Sunny is the likely leader at a slick tempo. SAXON JEWEL (5) couldn't hold on in a strong race at Belmont last time out when bumping into a progressive type. This looks a much more suitable assignment and she rates highly on that recent form. Looks well placed here from the good draw and she can get the job done this time. OCTOBER ROX (7) flew home over 1200m at this track and should be better for that effort. He jumped favourite there and it wouldn't surprise to see him sit closer this time around. Looks open to plenty of improvement now and can play a leading role. SHOOT TO FAME (3) was well beaten when fourth last start but looks suited in a race like this today. Draws inside with the slight drop in trip and she can be in the finish. SUPERB VINTAGE (9) flew home to score here last time out and can go on with the job today. WHO SAZ YES (4) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Saxon Jewel looks the one to beat. |

AVON VALLEY POOLS HANDICAP 1500m
Pace strong with Polyvanova and Sky River leading with Rommel's Jeuney nearby. POLYVANOVA (1) led them up and put them to the sword here last time out, winning comfortably by 1.3L. She only rises 1.5kg for the victory and this looks to shape favourably once again. Can bring up back-to-back victories. SKY RIVER (7) has been super in recent events, finishing behind Polyvanova last time out. Cheung remains on board and she meets Polyvanova better at the weights this time around. Can feature in the finish once again. SNIP OF GOSSIP (2) missed narrowly two back at Bunbury before a 3.2L defeat at this track most recently. Right back in trip here shouldn't be an issue and Dhurun replaces the apprentice. Won't be far away. RIVERCREST MAGIC (5) finished off strongly first-up over 1300m at this track. She's a track and trip winner in the past and she can go one better today. ROMMEL'S JEUNEY (9) is better than he's shown recently and can feature in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Polyvanova. |

WESTERN RACEPIX HANDICAP 1920m
Lack of early speed means Lakeview Lightning could find the lead. ASARKA (9) will find this easier than what he's been racing in recently, but the form stacks up in a race of this quality. Catarino's claim sees him down in the weights and he maps well here. Hasn't won for a while but this presents as a great chance to end his winning drought. MISS WALL STREET (1) comes back to this level which looks a good move on what she's done recently. Back to this grade can see him improve and the claim of Webster is a big tick. The inside draw should see her close to the speed and a return to her best form can see her right in the finish. PRINCE TIKEA (3) improved sharply last start as they took up the running over this course and distance. Suspect Martinan will adopt similar tactics and if he can run up to that performance again, he'll be hard to hold out. NORMA STARS (8) was better last start and she's in the mix on that effort. LAKEVIEW LIGHTNING (7) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Asarka gets the nod in the last. |
