WRC TICKETS ON SALE NOW! Maiden Handicap (QTIS bonuses applicable 2&3YO's only) 1000m
Solid tempo with Embezzles to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest.
FLORAL LEGEND (4) has had a few chances but has been thereabouts in recent efforts and strikes a very winnable contest here. Having her first run for the new stable and any market confidence must be noted. BOOM BUNNY (7) has hit the frame in both runs this time in work and looks to be building up to a maiden victory. Has to be included in calculations. HEEZ DE MAN (1) is a former Victorian galloper who should find this easier than what he faced down south. Keep very safe. EMBEZZLES (9) will strip fitter second-up from the break and gets in well at the weights with the 2kg claim. In the mix. TYRANNICAL (2) rounds out the selections in a race with only a handful of chances. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 4,7,1,9. |

HYGAIN Maiden Handicap (QTIS bonuses applicable 2&3YO's only) 1000m
Anticipate Nottington Prince, Novaya and Oscar Booie to set a strong tempo. The well-related SHE'S A BEAUTY (2) (half to 2xG2 winner and 3xG1 placed Barb Raider) is a former Victorian having her first run for the new yard but the form she showed down south was good enough to be competitive in a race of this calibre. Tuned up for this with a recent trial placing and gets the services of Wiggins on board from the inside marble. Plenty to like about her prospects. AMBER AFFAIR (8) just missed the frame over this track and trip when resuming and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Looms as the main danger. VALADORE (11) placed over this course and distance last time out and will be at peak fitness for this. Top-three aspirations. NOTTINGTON PRINCE (1) gets 2kg off from the low draw and may run a race while fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: She's A Beauty to shed the maiden tag. |

LADBROKES FORM GENIUS Class 1 Handicap 1300m
Parch and Ellis Beach will press forward in a keen battle for the lead. MR SUGAR DADDY (5) broke the maiden status around this circuit last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that breakthrough victory. Maps ideally for this from gate two and can go back-to-back without surprising. The well-related AIRWAVES (7) (half to G2 winner Sejardan) is another to get the maiden out of the way at the latest outing and can go right on with the job now. Worth following up. PARCH (1) will be ready to peak now fourth run back from the spell and is capable enough on his day. In the mix. HELL OF A BENTLEY (4) was too bad to be true at the latest effort but the form prior was good enough to play a role in this. Worth another chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mr Sugar Daddy to win again. |

LADBROKES PUNTER ASSIST BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 1200m
Expecting Impressionism to take up the lead at a genuine tempo.
KIRIKAN (1) doesn't win out of turn but has hit the frame in all four runs since joining the new stable with Wiggins being on top on all four occasions. Only needs some luck navigating from the sticky alley to be playing a major role in the outcome. KOBAYASTAR (8) saves her best form for her home circuit here and doesn't know how to run a bad race. Don't dismiss lightly. PRO FORMA (2) gets 2kg off from the favourable draw and looks a genuine top-three candidate on best figures. IMPRESSIONISM (3) may have suffered from the dreaded second-up syndrome last time out but the form prior was full of merit. Capable of bouncing back. PRIMO (7) next in line while fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 1,8,2,3. |

LADBROKES SAME RACE MULTI BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1609m
Genuine tempo from Mooloolaba leading Ain't Nobody. MORE TROUBLE (2) has been plying his trade in metro contests of late and will appreciate the drop back in company here. Gets Cormack on board from a low draw and should be right there when the whips are cracking. PRINCE AKEEM (3) is a consistent conveyance who has remarkably hit the top-five at his past 16 starts. Has to be included. MOOLOOLABA (4) loves this track and trip with five wins and four placings from just 11 attempts. Wiggins sticks following that last-start victory and shouldn't be underestimated. WHIRLWIND (5) is usually thereabouts and looks one at each way odds before the race depth seemingly tapers off. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 2,3,4,5. |

MITAVITE QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap 1000m
A hot tempo is expected with plenty of speed engaged. The penny has dropped for BURLINGTON ARCADE (1) who has strung back-to-back wins together this campaign with Wiggins being in the irons for both victories. Looks the one they all have to run down. MISTER DOOBEE (3) resumes here but the form he showed when last in work was good enough for this contest. Expect a strong run while fresh. VEGAMEISTER (5) boasts a win over this track and trip and gets some weight relief with the 1.5kg claim. Comes here with definite top-three claims. TARONG (4) is first-up but has tuned up for this with a recent trial and may earn some minor money. CAROHVIC (7) next elect back to his own age. SUGGESTED PLAY: Burlington Arcade to win again. |

QUALITY FABRICATIONS AND WELDING OPEN Handicap 1000m
Plenty of pace on show, headed by Acclimatise, Roweiner's Dance and Molongle Surprise. ROWEINER'S DANCE (2) is a 13-time winner here who will be high on confidence following back-to-back victories. Winning rider Semmens reunites in the saddle and again gets the benefit of her 2kg claim. Will prove very hard to toss. COLE'S BEST (8) got the chocolates over this course and distance last time out and is drawn to get a cosy run in transit from gate two. Shapes as a leading contender. GOING NUCLEAR (5) resumes here but has a solid first-up record and is another to get some weight off. Top-three commodity. DEMON AWARD (3) has only missed a drum once in six first-up attempts and can run a big race from the inside marble while fresh. RUSSIAN MINT (10) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Roweiner's Dance to bring up the hat-trick. |

GREAT NORTHERN BREWING CO Class 3 Plate 1000m
Cracking tempo with Baggage Handler and Coppabella Road leading the way. GOLDEN OCTAVIAN (2) has a solid record around this circuit with two wins and a second from just three spins and is building up a nice affinity with rider Wiggins. Should be right there when the judge calls a halt. COPPABELLA ROAD (6) boasts a win over this course and distance and will be rock-hard fit for this. Gets 2kg off with the claim and can make his presence felt. LOWLANDS (14) has hit the top-five in ten of her past 11 starts and is usually thereabouts. May run a race while fresh. THE IMPECKABLE (4) has placed two from three when first-up and maps nicely for this from gate two. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Golden Octavian. |
