NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:25 Race 1 1000m
MAETEL (3) made progress last start to finish third over 1300m at Mizusawa after being prominent at the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. ROI ABSOLU (5) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a spell, the latest when fifth over 1200m at this track. Will strip fitter and shapes as a leading player. RODEO STAR MATE (6) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fifth over 850m at Mizusawa. Likely improver with strong prospects. PIN OAK (1) showed good early dash before weakening to finish fourth over 850m at Mizusawa last time out. Among the chances.
2 01:00 Race 2 1200m
MEISHO HAKOBUNE (9) is a three-start maiden who could only manage to finish sixth at her latest appearance over 1700m at Sapporo Dirt. Likely to be in the finish in this suitable assignment. MARGIELA (2) has missed the frame at his last couple of runs, the latest when he drifted back and failed to come on, finishing 16th at Sapporo. Better placed and can bounce back to form. OMEGA JASMINE (7) is returning from a spell of nine weeks. Finished 11th at Niigata over 1600m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Hitoshi Sakai. Sure to make her presence felt. LATERAL ARC (1) is having her second run back from a break after she failed to threaten first up over 1600m at Niigata. Can feature with the right run.
3 01:35 Race 3 1200m
INDICATOR (8) is a eight-start maiden who could only manage to finish seventh at his latest appearance over 1900m at Chukyo Dirt. This offers him a great chance of breaking through as he drops into NAR level. Can shed the maiden tag. VERO CUORE (7) has missed the frame at her last couple of outings, the latest when sixth over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Has struggled on the JRA circuit recently but is better placed here. FLIESSEND (1) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Chukyo. Strips fitter and can find the winners' list. GRACE IRIS (5) finished in eighth at her most recent appearance over 1300m at Mizusawa. Looks to be in the right race to figure in the finish.
4 02:10 Race 4 1200m
GOLDEN LEI (5) led early and was still in the firing line on the turn last start before tiring to finish fourth over 1300m at Mizusawa. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. DUNGAREE (7) made a nice return two back then met with solid backing but disappointed when seventh over 1300m at Mizusawa six days ago. One of the chances based on his best recent efforts. MIGLIORE ALBA (3) got well back over 1600m at Kawasaki last time and never threatened, eventually finishing in fifth. This doesn't look as hard so he is sure to be prominent. MR ROSE (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1300m at Mizusawa, ending up in fifth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
5 02:45 Race 5 1200m
DIAMANT DROP (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2600m at Sapporo, finishing eighth. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. PRACTICO (9) is yet to break through after six career starts. Could only manage to finish tenth last time out over 1300m at Mizusawa following a minor placing at this track when fresh from a spell the run prior. Cannot be left out of calculations. CHAT NOIR (3) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a sixth over 1300m at Mizusawa. Nicely placed to break the run of outs. DIAMOND ATSUSHI (10) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1300m at Mizusawa, beaten 13 lengths. Looks to be in the right race so another bold effort is on the cards.
6 03:20 Race 6 1200m
IVY BLITZ (2) hasn't featured at his last two runs, the latest when 13th at Sapporo. Will appreciate this easier company and is worth another chance with the aid of an inside draw. YAMANIN TREMOLO (5) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Strips fitter and can find the winners' list. SOUND CANON (3) was in contention on the turn and finished third last start over 1300m at Mizusawa, beaten 0.6 lengths. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. R TRUST (1) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1300m at Mizusawa after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Another forward showing is anticipated.
7 03:55 Race 7 1600m
LIBERTE (9) is still a maiden after 14 starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Niigata Dirt two starts back before finishing ninth over 1800m at Niigata Dirt last time. Well placed this line-up and might be his day with his best form stacking up nicely. KAUNEUS (3) was comfortably accounted for when fifth last time out over 1900m at Mizusawa. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Has the talent to take care of this field. MEISHO KEIZEN (4) was in the firing line on the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1600m at Mizusawa after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. KITANO CONDOR (7) ran a better race last start, finishing 5.5 lengths away in fifth over 1400m at Mizusawa. Shinobu Murakami gets the best out of this three-year-old colt. Capable of featuring prominently.
8 04:30 Race 8 1600m
K T KISEKI (3) returned from a spell four weeks ago when he was in the firing line on the bend before finishing fifth over 1400m at Mizusawa. Likely improver with strong prospects. COSMO MOCHA (1) turned in a modest performance when tenth last time out over 1600m at Mizusawa. That followed a win at Mizusawa at the previous outing. The engagement of Makoto Otsubo is a positive move. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough. ASIA NO KAIZOKU (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at Mizusawa when ending up in sixth. Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. TANA KIBO (10) was last at the races when he finished eighth over 1200m at this track on July 16. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
9 05:05 Race 9 1200m
GREENWICH CITY (7) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 1.3 lengths away in third over 1400m at Mizusawa when he was always up in the leading division. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. CAMP FIRE (4) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when seventh, beaten 6 lengths, over 850m at Mizusawa. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. EARTH HOUR (1) did little and finished in eighth over 850m at Mizusawa last start, a less impressive effort than her fifth at Mizusawa the run before. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. KIRAMEKI (6) lines up for the first time since July 2. Looking to emulate her win at Mizusawa when returning from a spell last prep. Has to be respected.
10 05:40 Race 10 1200m
NO SIDE (9) made progress last start to finish third over 850m at Mizusawa after being prominent at the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. PERLAN (5) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 850m at Mizusawa. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. FINE ROSE (3) got the prize two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 1400m at Mizusawa, beaten 5 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. SUTEKINA KOKORO (8) was beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 850m at Mizusawa at his latest appearance. Better than recent efforts suggest.
11 06:15 Race 11 1400m
LA POLLITO (1) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 2.5 lengths over 1400m at Mizusawa. Will again be prominent from the outset. Goes up a rung or two but she is capable of running a bold race. THOUSAND MILE (12) is a promising type still in first campaign but off to a great start to career. Placed last time over 1600m at this track but prior to that put together two wins on end. Was a winner at only try at the trip and is among the leading chances again. POMAIKAI (10) broke his maiden five starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten 2.5 lengths into second over 1400m at Mizusawa. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Sure to be competitive. LAVEY (11) made progress last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in second over 1400m at Mizusawa. Looks to be in the right race so another bold effort is on the cards.
