ARE YOU SURE (9) was doing her best work late when fifth over 1200m last time.She has plenty of scope and she may be the one to side with. PRINCESS GOLDIE (6) stayed on well when third over 1200m on debut. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. She would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should pose a threat. HOT LAVA (11) showed good improvement in her last start over 1200m. He jumps from a good draw of two and has each-way claims. CHILI BOMB (8) is having his first run for the Gareth van Zyl stable. His penultimate effort when third over 1160m at Turffontein catches the eye. If settled into his new surroundings, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest. GRAND FORCE (4) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then finished sixth over 1200m at Scottsville last start. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. |

CAPTAINSHIP (10) was in need of his debut effort over 1200m at Scottsville. He would have come on from the run and should enjoy the extra distance on offer. There should be improvement to come from him. UZWANO (11) is a son of Ideal World and is the stable companion of the top selection. Serino Moodley is booked to ride and if not in need of the outing, he should give a good account of himself. GOT THE WORD (4) is better than his last two starts. He should enjoy the rise to 1400m and on his earlier form, he can finish in the money. |

He showed speed over 1200m last time but found one too good on the day. He should like the rise to 1400m and he should pose a massive threat.
