NUM TIME COMMENT
1 02:55 Race 1 1400m
MILLION TIMES (4) was good in the latest runs at JRA level, beaten only 3.6L into sixth over 1200m at Chukyo Dirt. That is good form for this far easier assignment and is expected to go close. THREE MOMENT (9) hasn't featured at his last two runs, the latest when 9 lengths away in 15th at Chukyo. Will appreciate this easier company and is worth another chance. PEISHA KIKU (2) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she got a long way back over 2000m at Niigata. Better placed so can make an impact. NOAH AGILE (5) returns from a spell of four months and is having her first run for a new yard. Can measure up.
2 03:25 Race 2 1400m
FAST FILL (6) has been tackling much stronger company at JRA level, the latest at Niigata five weeks ago, but was very good three back when beaten only 3.3L at Tokyo. That is a strong form pointer for this much easier grade. SUPER NANY (10) has missed the placings in both runs since resuming but there was good merit the effort two runs back when sixth at Fukushima. Finds a nice race and could get the job done. MAGICAL PRINCE (7) is another that has been tackling stronger races on the JRA circuit. Down in the weights this time. Expected to feature back in this class. BAI YULAN (5) ran a better race last start, finishing 4 lengths away in sixth over 1400m at this track. Capable of featuring prominently.
3 04:00 Race 3 1400m
WIND SPEED (6) is a five-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start at this track and trip. Improvement to come and this is his chance to break through. LA BONITA (3) made progress last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in second over this distance at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run. MOON BLUE (8) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time at this track and trip when resuming from a spell. In the right race and can progress. CORNWALLIS (9) was well held on the JRA circuit two back then last time sat on the pace in an easier race and stuck on well to finish third. Go well again.
4 04:35 Race 4 1400m
KIMIWA LEMONADE (1) has been solid against much tougher company at Niigata in both runs since a spell, finishing fifth when fresh and midfield last time out. Much better placed at this level and is well served by the inside draw. JAISALMER (9) is another that comes back from JRA level and was good when fifth two back at Chukyo Dirt. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. CAPO DI TUTTI CAPI (3) met with solid support last start at this track and trip when third, making it back-to-back placings. Drawn to enjoy a lovely run so could take this out. CURRENDELICESMONDE (7) resumes from a spell of 11 weeks and is having his first outing under new trainer Joji Tanaka. Raced at JRA level previously so this suits better.
5 05:10 Race 5 1400m
MEISHO ROSY (9) has been safely held in recent runs but they have been in much stronger company and there was merit in the effort two back when beaten only 3.3L at Kokura. Will find this much easier so has strong winning claims. DON KRONOS (5) is another that drops in grade from the JRA circuit and was good two back when beaten only 3.4L at Sapporo. Expecting a strong showing at this level. DANON MONTE ROSA (3) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 9 lengths at this track and trip. Could go on with it. TAMAMO JACKET (6) was safely held in a tougher race two starts back then found an easier contest last time and led throughout to score over 1400m at this track. Can feature in the finish again.
6 05:40 Race 6 1600m
GHOST (3) enjoyed the big drop in class from the JRA circuit last start but found one better at this track and distance, beaten 5 lengths after being prominent on the bend. Looks well placed and is nicely drawn so expect another big run. ARDORE (6) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 6 lengths into fourth over 1300m at this track. Will be improved by that. Nicely placed to find winning form. MAKE A STORY (5) scored two back then was ridden quietly but picked up fairly well in the straight last time out over 1300m at this track. Settles back early but winds up late so the longer journey should suit. Among the main hopes. GALBANUM (10) was solid in fifth last start. Can be competitive.
7 06:15 Race 7 1900m
YUMENO HONOO (6) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Recorded two wins and a second in three starts last time in and is looking to emulate his victory at this track to kick off the last campaign. Has recorded three wins from four fresh attempts. Can add another. GREED PARFAIT (1) last appeared when he finished second over 2000m at Saga on March 24. Draws the inside and can make his presence felt. GARBO MAMBO (2) finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 2000m at Kanazawa. Has a good record at this course and distance, including three wins. Fitter so can progress. NAMURA BOSS (3) hasn't been far away at his last couple and can feature from the low draw.
8 06:45 Race 8 1300m
GEMPACHI HAMAJI (5) has been out of the placings at his last couple of starts but they have come against much stronger opposition on the JRA circuit. Will find this easier and has winning claims in this suitable assignment. SUNRISE GRIT (6) is another that has been racing in stronger company, last time finishing midfield over 3000m at Chukyo. Has struggled on the JRA circuit recently but is better placed here. HIYA (3) showed good early speed when resuming last start over today's journey at this track before finishing second, beaten 3 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. PHRASEMAKER (8) ran below expectations last time but had placed in his other two outings this time in so can make amends.
9 07:20 Race 9 1300m
MEINER KING (9) did a great job to score by 3 lengths over this course and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result when runner-up here. Has his share of ability and is clearly in good order. Race fit and in good form so looks hard to beat again in another suitable race. WIN LIBERALE (4) has switched yards since finishing 13th five weeks ago over 1800m at Niigata. Will relish the big drop in class and a bold showing is anticipated. IMPETUOSO (3) has been midfield in his last couple and draws to advantage. Could play a role in this line-up. KIRISHIMA TOWN (7) could fill a top-four spot.
10 07:50 Race 10 1600m
ECORO FALCON (1) is racing well, finishing just half a length from the winner in second last time over 1400m at this track. Won four of his previous five at this course and was successful the only time he raced over this distance here. Can take advantage of the inside draw. Top chance. LORD IN FIGHT (9) lines up for the first time since April 14 having recorded two wins and a placing in three starts last campaign. Looking to emulate his win at this track when returning from a spell last prep. Should be hard to stop. SATONO ALEX (6) returns from a spell of four months. Ended last campaign as a winner and also won first-up last time in work. Major player. COPANO RICH MAN (7) owns a good strike rate here. Must be respected.
11 08:20 Race 11 1600m
ROYS PEAK (7) lifted strongly to score two back at this course and distance then dropped in trip and was prominent in the run last time before finishing second over 1400m at this track. Seiya Tatara who has scored on him 12 times retains the mount. Leading contender. KYOSHINTANKAI (2) recorded his second placing from his last three starts when he found a couple better over 1400m at this track last time. Well drawn and could find his winning ways. LEVEL THREE (5) will strip fitter for this after finishing sixth first-up at this track. SINGING ROAD (1) ran a better race last start, finishing fourth over 1400m. Well drawn and can figure in the finish.
12 08:50 Race 12 1400m
