NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:15 Progress Signs Handicap 1200m
Saufiana to apply plenty of early pressure over the sprint journey. SAUFIANA (2) resumes. She won her first two last time in before measuring up well to BM70 grade. A trial win suggests she has come back in good order. She'll land on speed and take catching. VANISHING (4) is another returning. She won well on debut so is capable of performing when fresh hand has a bit of upside. Looks a big danger. TIPSY TORONADO (3) is a progressive type who is yet to miss the top-two and blinkers go on. Must be included in the each way chances. GIRL (1) is two from three when second-up so could be an improver.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Saufiana to win fresh.
2 01:50 Brians Shed And Services Handicap 1200m
Signal is expected to lead at a keen tempo. FLY ON BYE (2) can run well at each way odds. He was solid at Seymour last time out when second and has been racing consistently as a whole of late. He'll take some catching. NAVAL ACADEMY (6) is a lightly raced type who has been running well in some handy races. Should appreciate the rise to 1200m and he'll go close. OUR COUVER (4) resumes. He'll get over further in time but has the class to sprint well fresh. SIGNAL (1) is certainly up to winning this and can bounce back from a poor one last time. SHUT EYE (8) next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Fly On Bye each way.
3 02:25 ModTech Group Handicap 1000m
Bridal Waltz looks to lead the small field. Race has been knocked about by scratchings and should now pan out well for BRIDAL WALTZ (4) who won easily fresh at Tatura as favourite, scoring by nearly 3 lengths. She's got good speed and will be very hard to catch. VIOLA VIVACE (2) was disappointing fresh at Listed level at Moonee Valley but has ability and will find this an easier task could be a sharp improver. ROSE DE VELLOR (7) showed talent in the debut win over this distance and draws the inside. With natural improvement likely could go on with it. DON'T RUSSIA (5) is lightly raced but has shown enough to be competitive.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Bridal Waltz to win.
4 03:00 Highview Accounting & Financial Handicap 1000m
Sibel and Midnight Charm to match motors but there will be plenty of pressure from other quarters. EXUMA (10) resumed with a solid maiden win at Seymour, just his second race start. This is an open race and not the deepest BM64, and from the inside gate he'll land on speed and take catching. MIDNIGHT CHARM (1) is off a short spell here. He hasn't fired in his past two runs but certainly has the ability on his day. Best figures measure up nicely. STRANGELESS (11) was good when fourth in a metro BM64 last start and gets in nicely with 54kg here. Solid each way hope. TAX FREE PROPHET (7) was good fresh at Bendigo and has claims. MR TICKLES (2) next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Exuma to win.
5 03:35 Sportsbet Feed Handicap 2000m
Lack of early pace suggests a pedestrian tempo is on the cards over this journey. LODBROK (7) is a consistent type who is relatively lightly raced compared to a few of these. He was beaten less than a length last start at Cranbourne over 2060m behind a smart type and a repeat of that effort would go close here. GOVERNOR KING (6) has seven starts under his belt. He was good last start at Seymour in this grade and he draws well here. Good each way hope. DUKE OF HASTINGS (4) drops in class having been okay in some recent racing against better opposition. This suits. PROPRIETARY (8) is in the mix on best form.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Lodbrok on top.
6 04:10 Sportsbet Fast Form Handicap 1600m
Expecting Disturbia to take up the running with Matawai and Piccolo Fiore close at hand. KIND GESTURE (2) resumes having performed well in the past and she was readied with a solid trial. Her form last time in against some handy opposition reads very well for this and she can run well. MATAWAI (3) won narrowly two back at Sandown Lakeside before an even effort last time. Suited here from the low draw and should go close with her A-game. IGOTCHA (7) has been solid so far this campaign and looks ready to peak third up out to a mile so may take beating. PARIAH PEARL (4) has been honest of late and is in the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Kind Gesture to win.
7 04:50 R.M. Ansett Classic 2400m
Pace strong from Golden Crusader and Sir Lucan vying for the lead closely attended by Hit The Road Jack. SIR LUCAN (1) was solid when in the Newcastle Cup last time and will be getting close to peak fitness fourth-up. He's got the big weight again but has the class to lead all the way. HIT THE ROAD JACK (2) was back from the jumps last start and ran very well in the G3 Archer Stakes when second. Very reliable and draws for a soft run. Major claims off that last effort. GOLDEN CRUSADER (4) won an easier race well last start, giving him two wins and a placing in three tries at the distance. HERMAN HESSE (3) next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Sir Lucan on top.
8 05:30 The Big Screen Company Handicap 1600m
A solid tempo looks likely with a few on pace runners. TESER (7) looks nicely placed to take this out. He's placed in all three runs this time in, beaten under a length in each of them. He should be at peak fitness here and maps for a soft run. PRESSER (3) was just fair fresh at Randwick Kensington but will come on plenty from that and has the ability to win in this grade. SIMEON (4) has just been fair in two runs back from a spell but should be ready to fire now and can roll along in front. SUPER SOLAR (8) is a consistent type who should be thereabouts again. JAPANESE EMPEROR (2) is in the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Teser on top.
