COOK ISLAND GIRL (4) confirmed some honest runs last campaign with a barnstorming win first up. Strips fitter and no issue with this trip from a plum draw. Can measure up. RUSH ATTACK (5) keeps grinding away like this trip will suit and arrives here rock-hard fit. Looks a definite threat after getting some honest weight relief into this. KONING (1) was plain first up but should appreciate the longer trip on offer. Blinkers come off and respect any market support. SUGGESTED PLAY: California Sunrise win. |

Pace can come from Elle Hudson after scratchings. MAGIC SHADOW (2) tried hard first up in genuinely wet conditions and tackles a similar trip. Improving type with strong claims despite a tricky gate. Pay to follow now. TOKYO LADY (13) takes on some older horses but held her margin late in the race last start. Up in trip third up must consider. ELLE HUDSON (5) was soft in betting first up but does find a longer trip which looks more suitable. Gets a few gear tweaks and looks capable of improving at odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Magic Shadow win. |

Always plenty of early pressure in races like this with a large representation of first starters lining up. HYPERBOLIC (9) impressed on debut when finishing strongly over a shorter trip. Drawn the rails and with added fitness is a must-include. FLYING ARGYLE (1) has a bit to do from a wide draw but has shown plenty of potential in all three previous runs. Jumps sharply in trip but proven in the wet. LAVALIER (5) has been thereabouts in two trials and is one of two stable acceptors in the contest. Can make his presence felt on debut. VINNIRO (10) found the line well second up suggesting this type of trip could be the key to a better result at his third run back. Ideally drawn to run a cheeky race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hyperbolic win. |

Always plenty of early pressure in sprint races such as this with a large representation of unraced runners. LONHREEL (7) posted some solid country form last campaign and cleared out to win a recent trial in good style. Finds an ideal target first up. Think he can win this and go on to have a strong campaign. STRATIFIED (4) yielded late ground first up in similar company after a six-month spell. Previous trials were sound though and the blinkers come off. Gets another chance. NAY PEE CEE (2) was brave first up on a heavy track after a year off. Strips fitter and should be up and handy to the speed early on. Each-way claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lovely race for Lonhreel to kick off a winner. |

Good pace with Without booting up inside the speedy pair Stiorra and Du Cap. LIMAHULI (8) tackled some sharp races in his initial campaign and resumes as a gelding. Comes through some strong trial lineups of late and no surprise to see a sharper result. Taking seriously. CONTRIVED (3) has looked a much-improved galloper in two recent trials and looks up and about for a breakout campaign. Drawn poorly but looks capable of returning in bold fashion. DU CAP (7) has run his best races to date on heavy tracks and has the speed to get past a wide draw. Gets a few things in her favour now so worth following up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Limahuli win. |

Solid tempo on paper with several who can be handy. BOSS (4) didn't have a lot go his way first up as a well-supported favourite. Finds another tricky draw but has a bold second-up record. Gets another chance. BODGIE (2) has genuine wet track credentials and boxed on gamely in what look strong form references at his past two outings. Trades a big weight hike for a class drop but finds lots in his favour. HELLOVA NATURE (1) showed early bloom last campaign but is yet to act on a wet track. Given two trials into this with a well-used claim. Strong return expected. SKIESTHELIMIT (8) has reliable wet track form and is proven at this type of trip. Up in grade for this but could easily bob up fresh. Keep safe returning from a spell. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boss each-way. |

Good early pressure with Restrictions, I Am Mamwaazel and She's All It to vie for the lead. CARPACCIO (6) showed immediate talent in his first campaign and returns off two zip home trials. Tackles a tough race first up but can progress quickly this time in. FOURTH SPARGO (11) tried hard second up at this track and rises slightly in trip. Building a solid record so far and despite a wide draw is an obvious horse for this course. BUBA (7) isn't getting any younger but laps up any type of give in the track. Trialled twice of late and loves her home course. Cheeky run from the rails draw possible. SUGGESTED PLAY: Carpaccio win. |

Candy Women prominent. SPICY HOTPOT (7) has been thereabouts in similar grade of late and handles it genuinely wet. Trained on track and slightly back in trip gets herself a genuine look at winning now. BONUS TEMPUS (9) finds it hard to win but her form is holding up like a winter wave in a westerly wind. In another genuine contest but looks up to it. CANDY WOMEN (10) will cope with a wet track and just needs to handle the class rise to be in the mix again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Spicy Hotpot each-way. |
