FERNANDA (6) raced on the pace when resuming last start and lifted strongly to hold third over today's journey at this track. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is capable of running another bold race. ROUGE MAAT (1) is a 14-start maiden who could only manage to finish sixth at her latest appearance over 1400m at this track. Well placed on this occasion and gets her chance to break the ice. GO ON PURPOSE (10) has been in the market at her last couple of runs since resuming but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest seventh at Funabashi over 1200m. Rates highly on best figures and can do much better. STRONGEST (9) hit the frame two starts ago but ran below par last time when eighth over 1400m at Kawasaki. Solid top-three prospects.
