A strong tempo is assured with Cheerful Cat and Decadad leading the charge. Wide open race. TORO CHASE (4) scored the maiden win two back then tackled city grade last time but was safely held. Back to right class and deserves another chance. CAISHEN (1) resumed last time out and finished third over 1350m at Ipswich, beaten 2 lengths. Has upside after a strong return and looks hard to beat. BONUS SEASON (3) was a winner at Sandown-Lakeside over this distance two back then tackled a longer trip last time but failed to measure up when tenth in the LR Gold Coast Bracelet. Huge class drop for this and gets chance to atone. PROBLEMATICAL (6) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1400m at Sunshine Coast Poly, scoring by a nose. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. OPETAIA (8) handles the ground and expected to run well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Toro Chase can atone.
