Reasonable tempo with Cresta Crystal probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. LADY OF LUBECK (7) was unwanted in betting on debut last start over this distance at Pakenham but did a good job to work home into fifth, beaten under three lengths. Not a great deal of depth to this race so with a bit of natural improvement she can make her presence felt. CRESTA CRYSTAL (3) has transferred to the Carey/Walker barn and is fresh from a 32-week spell. Placed at both runs in the maiden campaign in races slightly longer than this. Three trials/jump-outs back to 10 March suggest she is fully wound up for this. KAPOLEI (5) settled handy and looked to have her chance when fourth on debut over 1008m at Sale recently. Can improve with that run under the belt over a bit more ground. SIRIUSLY BRIGHT (10) didn't quite run up to market expectations on debut at Werribee a fortnight ago but deserves another chance. It would be a big surprise if the winner came outside this quartet. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lady Of Lubeck to win.
