Corbusier is expected to lead at a slick tempo. SOWILO SIREN (6) was in the market first up but could only manage fourth over 950m at this track last start. Races well when second-up. Goes well at this journey with four wins and three placings from 10 starts and looks a top chance. MACHINE HEAD (8) finished seventh two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 950m here, beaten only 1.75 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. The well-related NEW HAMPSHIRE (4) (half to G1 winner Levendi) scored last start at Gordonvale to make it two wins from four starts this campaign. Has claims based on that latest effort. ALMIGHTY JAB (3) returned from a break last start with a modest fifth over 950m at this circuit, beaten 5 lengths. Record here is sound including three wins from seven starts. Change of jockey to Ryan Wiggins who has a strong record when aboard, including five wins. Best figures stack up.
