A SHIN REAPER (4) finished second as favourite last time out over 1400m at this track, making it three minor placings from four starts this time in work. Has been thereabouts without winning and expected to go close. NISHINO MAGNOLIA (8) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on March 10, finishing 12th over 1400m at Himeji. Rates highly in this line-up and makes plenty of appeal. GRAPHOS (1) is a five-start maiden who could only manage to finish sixth at his latest appearance over 1400m at this track after he was well back on straightening. Solid top-three chance on his best figures. OISHI SHAKUNAGE (9) missed the frame last start over 820m at this track, finishing tenth. Out in trip and worth another chance.
