TUAPEKA GOLD (8) impressively beat a handy field to make it two from two when he came from this row and cruised home by 17 metres at Bathurst last week. Looks a nice horse in the making and can deliver again. AGOSTINO (2) is a gelding by Art Major on debut for the Ross Adams yard. Has been runner-up in his last two trials at Menangle and should enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. FEROCIOUS LOVER (6) draws wider but is racing well, breaking her maiden in a Gold Tiara consolation two back before a respectable second at her most recent appearance at Newcastle. MAVERICK (3) is stepping out for the first time. By For A Reason and hails from the Troy Williams stable. Draws well and has trialled well enough to be competitive.
