The recent form of DOM TORETTO (3) may not leap off the page but he has been tackling much stronger opposition at Menangle and did manage a second to Captains Knock in the Murray Cup at Albury in February. That form would stack up strongly in this and he draws to advantage. QUIET STORM (2) has come from very wide barriers in his last two outings Menangle so will enjoy the ace draw and should be hitting peak fitness now. VAN BASTEN (6) drew on the back row and suffered a gear malfunction last week so prepared to forgive that result. Placed from a similar draw to this at this circuit and distance last month so worth another chance. WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (4) has come from wider barriers for midfield finishes in both city outings since switching from Queensland. Draws to be competitive.
