A moderate tempo expected despite the big field. GOLDWASSER (3) did well last start but found a couple better over 1300m at this track, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Draws well and her best figures measure up in what looks a winnable assignment. HO O GIFT (11) is building towards her maiden success, the latest effort a solid third at this track and trip. Has scope for further improvement. LEONFORTE (4) is finding the breakthrough elusive but is among the chances on best figures. LACUSNO KAMIKAZARI (9) only beat one home at the last outing but hadn't been too far away in the prior two attempts so can show more in this line-up.
