Not much gate speed on show enabling Ortigia to roll to the front. NITTO RAIJIN (3) enjoyed a class drop last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 7 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Draws well and looks well placed so expect another big run. REWARD PASION (7) last appeared when he finished tenth over 2000m at Sapporo on August 30. Has switched to the Masamitsu Sakai yard. Much better placed at this level. SOCIAL WORKER (6) has not raced since his debut on June 22 2024 over 1800m at Tokyo. He can measure up in this easier company. T O SIRIUS (5) is now under the care of new trainer Shinji Kudo. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
