Pace looks strong with Sorrel Bullet pressing on from an outside draw, joining Proud Heritage. CHAMPAGNE POP (4) did a great job to score by 5 lengths over this course and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role. KYOKIRAMBU (11) turned in a fine effort to score by 2.5 lengths at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Taking on a better field but he is up to the task. NOT ENOUGH (9) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 2100m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. Has started twice at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Nicely placed to play a major role. ERIKA SAPPHIRE (15) was last at the races when she finished second over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt on April 19. Has to be respected despite the long lay-off.
