METUS (7) had been racing consistently, finishing in the money three races on end, until finishing fourth as favourite last time out over 1600m at this track. Should park just off the speed. Best form puts him right in this. DERMA ATMAN (5) started at $4.20 last time but could only manage fourth at this track over 1600m. Can atone for that last run. CRI D'AME (11) resumes from a spell of 11 weeks and is having his first outing under new trainer Yuji Uchikoshi. Finished eighth at Fukushima Dirt over 1150m at the opening run last time in work. Sound top-three prospects. MEISHO HYUMA (2) ran below expectations last time at this track over 1600m, finishing fifth. Should be poised just off the lead and deserves respect on best figures.
