Reasonable tempo with Rich Aroma probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. FESTIVE MENOKO (8) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 2 lengths at Morioka Dirt over 1000m. Sure to run well again. TAISEI ROSY (1) was expected to do more last start when out of the placings over 1000m at Morioka Dirt, beaten 6 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but he cannot be ruled out. DROTTNING (7) turned in a modest performance when seventh last time out over 1000m at Morioka Dirt, beaten 5 lengths. That followed a win the previous outing. Toshiya Yamamoto gets the best out of this five-year-old mare. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to feature. GRAFFIAS LADY (2) was beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth in a 1400m contest at Morioka Dirt three-and-a-half weeks ago. No surprise to see her in the frame.
