Genuine tempo from A Shin Peridot leading K T Yui. MISSILE BISCUITS (4) made progress last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1500m at this track. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is good enough to figure in the finish. NIGHT RAINBOW (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1800m at Funabashi, beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the corner. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. K T YUI (10) went forward last start and gave a great sight when third over 1800m at Funabashi. Has the gate speed to negate a tricky draw. Shapes as one to consider. YAMABUKI (12) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for fifth over 1800m at Funabashi. Outdashed but got home well and looks suited by the extra ground. Can sneak into the finish.
