Without on-pacers engaged it may turn into a sprint home. HELL OF A RIDE (4) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 3 lengths over 1400m at Kawasaki. Winning rider Ryo Novata sticks and he should be in the finish. MEISHO SANOSA (7) has been safely held at her last couple of starts, the latest when always well back in 18th over 2200m at Chukyo. Much better placed this time. HAKUSHIN DRAGON (1) opened this prep five weeks ago and scored over 1400m at this track, getting home by 0.8 lengths. One of the leading contenders. TINA BAROWS (10) produced another moderate effort last start when 7 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1500m at this track. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
