ARGYROS (1) Luke Thomas trained gelding by Dárgento from Pure Intentions facing the starter for the first time. Undefeated in three trials and gets his chance from the good gate with Penza aboard. Solid top three prospect. THE SIMPLE LIFE (7) deep into the prep and gets a more economical run from the inside gate. Motored late from the outside gate when second over 1000m at Tuncurry in the heavy (8) going. NOVAYA (5) nicely bred mare by sire Russian Revolution from the stakes-winning mare Vanilla Gold on debut. Ran fourth at recent trial. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dijon Autre to cut the mustard.
