The Oyster and Cumbrian Queen are likely to pair-off in front at a reasonable clip. Tricky race. COUNTESS JENNI (1) is coming off a narrow win at Kyneton in this grade but is still lightly raced and can measure up again. No issue for this stable with the 43 days between runs, she can land in a handy spot again and take catching. MAKBEEL (7) has run well on either side of an Adelaide flop, good here last time in a BM64 when second. That reads well, expect he takes beating. JAYROD TOO (4) has found a bit of form of late, placing at huge odds in town two back before another poor one last time. Can improve. BOSSA NOVA LAD (6) won in easier grade two back at Mornington over a similar trip before an even effort here last time. Suited here. FIFI BLUE (3) is going quite well and can figure again.
