Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Road Of Shadow. ABLE MAN (2) was well fancied last start over 1500m at this track when third. Takahiro Imai who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Sure to run well. ROAD OF SHADOW (6) found one marginally better last start over 1500m at this track after being prominent throughout. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. BROAD ACT (7) finished fourth last start over 1500m at this track. Has a good record at this course and distance, including four wins. Worth noting Daimyo Otshata goes aboard. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. MORNING BEACH (1) ran below his best when seventh last start over 1700m at this track. Sure to do much better.
