Track: GOOD      

Strong early tempo from the fliers Happily Friends and Diamond Soars. DIAMOND SOARS (1) drops back in grade today after tiring late in the race last start over 1200m. Now back to the short course where he's won three times and Bowman hops in the saddle. Looks a targeted assault and he looks the one to beat. MULTIMORE (6) will be fitter for two trials coming into this. Dylan Mo should get every chance from barrier 1 and he was in good form at the end of last campaign. Can return with a bang. TACTICAL COMMAND (2) drops back tot he 1000m journey today for the first time after tiring late in the race last time out. He has good early speed, but has also shown he can run on strongly from the back. Worth keeping on side. MODEST GENTLEMAN (4) was no match for a good winner last start but was best of the rest. Chance if he can run up to that level again.
