Always plenty of early pressure in sprint races such as this with a large representation of first starters. ALWAYS SHINING (8) has shown good improvement in each of his outings to date. He set the pace over 1400m last time and stayed on well to finish third of nine. He meets the right field here and should prove hard to beat. GENERAL BYNG (6) resumed from a spell last start and ran a fair race to finish fourth of nine over 1400m at this track. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Richard Fourie is in the saddle and he rates well as one of the leading contenders. FEATHER DANCER (3) showed some improvement in her last start over this course and distance when finishing third of nine. Jumping from her good draw of three should give the males a decent run for their money. MOVE TO PROVE (4) is on debut for the F Robinson stable. Two-year-old colt by One World from Statute. Fresh-up a bold showing expected.
