Solid early tempo with O Sole Rika driving forward from the wide gate, joined by Edono Phoenix and Smile Now pushing on from closer draws. EDONO PHOENIX (1) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by a length over 1200m at Ohi. Will again be prominent from the outset. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. O SOLE RIKA (11) led throughout last time over 900m at Kawasaki and scored a comfortable win. Winning jockey stays aboard and sure to go close if runs up to latest effort. WORLD EMPIRE (7) fought on well for second last start over 1200m at this track, making it three minor placings in a row. Proving a good combination with Taito Mori with three straight placings. Has winning claims on best figures. CLUTCH TIME (10) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and led throughout to score dominantly at this track. Sure to be thereabouts.
