Cracking early tempo with Kowloon East Star and Mega Bonus leading the way. Interesting race to assess. COUNTRY DANCER (12) is racing well of late as he looks to close in on his maiden victory. The wide draw is a niggle, but he does tend to get back in his races. He jumped a $3.80 chance last start and this is no tougher. He appears the one to beat. FLYING WROTE (5) trialled well over this course and distance recently and looks to have good ability. Angus Chung was on board for all 3 lead up trials and he sticks with the gelding today. Drawn well and can make an impact on debut. EMBRACES (4) is well-trialled and finished behind Flying Wrote in that recent trial. He wasn't fully tested though and just went around under his own steam. Expecting there to be a bit more under the bonnet and he can show what he's capable of today. THE AZURE (7) was also in that same trial and has been good in his public hit outs. Keep safe.
