Best figures measure up which makes him the one to beat. HIRABOKU CARRERA (1) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing second last time when he was in the firing line all the way over 1150m at Fukushima Dirt. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. MOKARA MARS (10) is back from a break of five-and-a-half months. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when 11th over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Good enough on his day so worth including. KEIAI MAUNGA (13) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt, although beaten just 2 lengths into fifth. Fitter and poses a genuine threat.
