Strong tempo with Namura Emmy and Athena Parthenos leading from Eclair Brillant and Rikea Darjeeling. NAMURA EMMY (4) did a great job to score by 0.8 lengths over this course and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is right in contention. DOWN TO EARTH (9) finished out of the money when fourth over 1400m at this track three weeks ago. Meets some better types this time but a big run will not surprise. RIKEA DARJEELING (3) is having her first run since winning by half a length three-and-a-half weeks ago over 1400m at Kanazawa. Has transferred to the Ryuma Kanagawa stable over the break. Sure to make her presence felt. ATHENA PARTHENOS (11) was safely held when eighth last time out over 1400m here after a win at this track at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
