Genuine tempo from Black Zous leading Battle Jack. BLACK ZOUS (1) was prominent from the outset when second over 1200m at this track last time out. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position and will give a great sight. COLLISON (5) has switched yards since finishing fifth three weeks ago over 1600m at this track. Will be tuned-up for this and is expected to run well. The well-related VITESSE BREEZE (4) (half to G1 winner Long John) had been racing well with three consecutive placings before last start managing only fourth over 1200m at this circuit. Gets his chance to atone. THROW AT DA STUMPS (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1200m at this course, beaten 3.5 lengths. This looks a good race for him so another forward showing looks likely. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Black Zous.
