Hard to knock the form of KINK (10) who has added to a string of wins and placings by scoring in his last two appearances at Manawatu. Goes back a little further in the handicap but has proven he can overcome those. Big chance again. ROMEO FOXTROT (9) enjoys a big class drop after tackling the big guns in the Rowe Cup last week. He is much better suited here having come from a similar handicap to place the last time he raced at this venue three back. VERY MAJESTIC (8) got it wrong last start but did a good job for second at Manawatu prior and owns a decent record at this circuit and distance. WESTAR MILLY (4) has won at this circuit and distance before and could be close to another success having added to a series of top-four finishes with a last-start second behind Kink at Manawatu.
