CRITICAL IMAGE (1) put the writing on the wall when runner-up two back then overcame a second line draw and scored last time out at Manawatu. Should enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position and has won here before so could make it two on the bounce. CLAUDE (7) only beat one home last start but that was in stronger company. He'll enjoy getting back to the venue that has produced his best results. ALWAYS FLYIN (9) hasn't been too far off the placegetters in his two starts off a spell and has a decent third-up record so could peak. LINCOLN LINDA (4) won from wider last start, taking her strike rate at this circuit and distance to 50 per cent. Respect.
