MAGENTA (3) has been coming from wider barriers than this of late and producing some good efforts including a placing three starts back at Ruakaka. Should get her chance from this favourable draw. THE LAST YARN (8) showed improvement in her second outing, finishing runner-up at Manawatu. Draws wide but has more upside than many of these. RIVERGIRL BELLA (4) has been racing at Alexandra Park but looks better suited here having placed in three of her four attempts at this circuit and distance.
