GREAT BUY (1) won fresh up this prep and since then he has been racing very consistently. He steps up to a mile which is as far as he wants but he should get away with it around this circuit against a small field. The pole position should ensure that he races close to the pace and he could even try to take them all the way. FANTASY EAGLE (3) can mix his form and he ran one of his better races last time out at Alice Springs, finishing runner-up. He is well placed at the weights and maybe Paul Denton can get the coax the best out of him where it matters most. COMMAND KING (2) was over a month between runs when finishing fifth last start and that effort should have him spot on for this target a week later. He drops 5 kilos in weight and is perfectly placed to give this a shake. Can win. BAROCCO BAR (4) ended up getting too far back last time out from a wide gate and is expected to improve quickly in a small sized field here. Stick with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Great Buy to win.
