Abundant early pace from the speedy trio of Holly's View, Ella's Delight and Mr Bodacious. RAPTOR ISLAND (6) followed up his maiden victory with a good third-place finish over this course and distance. He has won once, finished second once and third once from as many starts over this course and distance. S'manga Khumalo steps back into the saddle and the combination may find themselves in the winner's enclosure. ANUSCHKA'S WORLD (7) was given a gun ride when winning his maiden at the third time of asking. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He takes on stronger rivals but he has plenty of scope and should be well up to the task at hand. JOYOUS JUBILEE (8) has good recent form lines to his credit. He is likely to race on the speed and merits healthy respect. HOLLY'S VIEW (1) won well at this track two runs back. Fair effort last time out when third over 1200m at this track and should prove hard to beat in this suitable race.
