NORMAN (8) was below his best last time, finishing seventh and beaten 9 lengths over 2100m at this track. This is a nice drop in grade and is one of the main contenders. SEAHAVEN (3) back in trip and class here after tiring in the run to finish eighth over 2100m here on April 26. Can hold a forward position and run into the money. OUR GIRL EVE (10) produced another moderate effort last start when 5.5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1600m at Inverell. Capable of featuring prominently with the drop in weight.
