Plenty of pace from Glyglygly Jiro, Preemie and Extra Light matching motors ahead of Velos. PREEMIE (10) is a talented galloper who is unbeaten from five runs, the latest success coming over 1500m at this track. Effortless winner last start and is a winning hope again. EXTRA LIGHT (6) showed early speed from an outside draw last time and led for much of the way before fading to finish fifth, beaten 5 lengths, over 1500m at Funabashi. Expected to be in this for a long way. FEE DES FLEURS (9) made progress last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1400m at Urawa. Nicely placed to take this out. HAKUSHIN ACE (4) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a ninth over 1500m at Urawa after he got a long way back in the run. Likely improver who should be in the mix.
