MYNAMEISRUBY (4) had been about the mark consistently then kept the ball rolling last start when she finished second over 1690m at this track, beaten 5 metres to make it eight minor placings from her past 10 starts. Big chance in a similar assignment. MY GREAT EIGHT (5) has been a bit hot and cold and that continued last start when he finished third, beaten 7 metres, in a nice return to form at Echuca over 2160m. Primary contender in a similar race. BOSS MAJOR (3) must be considered after he finished third over 1758m at Leeton a week ago. DOT BALL (8) is the best of the rest after finishing fifth over 1785m at Stawell last time out. Can trouble the judge with any luck in running.
