Was less than a length from the winner in third at Tokyo on debut before breaking through for a strong win over 1600m at Niigata last start. Has plenty of upside and can measure up again this time in work. ALTRAMUZ (1) impressed when successful as favourite on debut over 1600m at this track seven-and-a-half weeks ago. Sure to take a lot from that experience and can make it back-to-back wins. MONOPOLIO (13) last appeared 12 weeks ago when he finished third over 1800m at Tokyo, the only start of that campaign. This sets up nicely. VALSECITO (11) finished seventh last time out as favourite over 2000m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Can improve on that effort and is one of the contenders.
