Moderate tempo with Truly Icconic leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. ZUPPA INGLESE (12) is a progressive filly who showed some talent as a late-season juvenile, and then resumed with a bold effort for second when beaten by a neck at Wangaratta 3 weeks ago. The step up from 1170m to 1429m is the key, and she should go close to winning this, despite copping a wide gate. IMMORTALISED (5) has raced his way into some good form and will step out beyond 1200m for the first time. He has a good gate and is worth including in all combinations. SUPERGRACE (10) strips fitter second up, and WAVENDON (4) is also in the same boat. Include both of them in any wider multiples in an even field. SUGGESTED PLAY: Immortalised each way.
