Strong pace with Abenin Smile, Presto Arthur and Erz pushing forward, closely attended by Rebellious and Mikuni Sunbeam. MIKUNI SUNBEAM (1) saluted at the first run back from a spell last start over 1800m at this track, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Has been given a let-up of two months since that outing. Fitter for that last hitout and is clearly the one they have to beat. BELLWOOD UZUME (3) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 3 lengths at Saga over 1800m. Should measure up again. GAMMO LEGEND (2) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 2000m at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. ERZ (8) scored two back at this track but was below his best last time when tenth over 1600m at this track. Nicely placed to bounce back.
