PYRO DE KISEKI (3) produced another good effort when second last start after being in the firing line on the corner over 1500m at this track, beaten half a length. That followed a win here the start prior. Strong claims. BLOODLINE (1) returns from a break of ten weeks. Genuine performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a second over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to kick off another successful campaign. TOMA (7) fought on well for third last start over 1400m at Urawa, making it two minor placings in a row. Naoki Machida has registered three minor placings when on board. Can be competitive. SANDY BEACH (9) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and sat just off the lead, eventually drawing away to score by a neck over 1800m at Funabashi. Cannot be underestimated.
